On the last leg of his journey he attended Maha Kumbh Mela, an event that occurs only once every twelve years, celebrating Jupiter’s revolution and the sites where the nectar of immortality was dropped by the Gods in a mythological past. It was the largest gathering of people on the planet, with over half a billion human beings gathered along the shore of the Ganges river.
